A nearby quarry

A friend told us about a nearby quarry, not in use anymore. We decided to go there with Klaudia and see what we could find.
For me, someone who spent 4 years in Norway, a country built on rules, rules, and even more rules, a country in which everyone obeys these rules and never dares to break them, to jump through fences was a mind-opening and freeing experience. I swear, I was shaking like a piece of jelly there, afraid of being caught and put into jail ;) :P But what wouldn`t you do for your greatest hobby?

The place used to mine for sedimentary rock, the one that you use for making gravel.

There was nothing there, the place completely "dead". I expected much more from this site, especially that it cost us so much effort to get there. We found a few microscopic fossils and a rock with some orange veins/ staining. THAT. IS. IT.
Even though we didn`t find anything, it was still an interesting experience and the view was just amazing!
